$2.1 million from National Science Foundation to fund program for undergrads nationwide interested in math or science education, led by Vassar mathematics professor

The National Science Foundation has granted $2.1 million for a new summer undergrad program that answers the call for science and math teachers in U.S. public schools. Vassar mathematics professor Charles Steinhorn is the lead investigator, and it is the largest grant secured by a VC prof in that role.
